The Board discussed each item on the agenda and made no changes or additions.

Mrs. Henson advised that her department had a total intake of about 3,000 animals in the last fiscal year. Her department is on-call 24/7 on a rotating shift to assist the Georgia Environmental Health Department with rabies control, and the Department of Agriculture in animal neglect issues.

Piper O’Brien, the architect for the replacement parking deck, presented a design for a three-story parking deck. They advised that the final design should be presented in a few weeks.

Mr. Martin Vaugh, Director of Purchasing, advised the Board of the four vendors selected to submit bids to construct the replacement parking deck. The committee evaluating the vendors considered the qualification and the four selected are Brasfield & Gorrie, Lusk & Compay, RA-Lin & Associates/Fox & Brindle, and Turner Construction. A request for proposals will be delivered to the four vendors this week.
