WORK SESSION MINUTES
NOVEMBER 21, 2017
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Gordon County Administration building.

Vice Chairman Steward called the meeting to order.
County Administrator Ledbetter explained the two rezoning applications on the Regular Meeting agenda. Also discussed with the Board each item under New Business on the agenda for the Regular Meeting. No items were changed, added or deleted from the agenda.
Vice Chairman Steward reminded everyone that the Next Commissioners’ meeting is scheduled for December 5, 2017 and that the county offices will be closed November 23 and 24 for Thanksgiving holidays. The Cash and Investment Report was available for Board Members. There were no questions concerning schedules, reports, nor agenda items.
County Administrator Ledbetter advised that the Board has received a request from ACCG to name a new County Legislative Coordinator in order for ACCG to update their list. the County Legislative Coordinator provides county-specific information to ACCG and the legislative delegation. Also receives the county legislative updates from ACCG and keeps the county commissioners updated. Following discussion, there was a consensus of the Board members to appoint County Administrator James Ledbetter as the County Legislative Coordinator.
Commissioner Cunningham made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Owens seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the Work Session adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
