Qualifying Period

Opens:             Monday, August 21, 2017 at 8:30 am

Closes:             Friday, August 25, 2017 at 4:30 pm

To qualify for municipal office you will go to the City Hall in the municipality that you reside in:  City of Calhoun, Plainville, Fairmount and Resaca.

2018 General Primary Election and Nonpartisan Election Candidates Qualifying:

Qualifying for the General Primary and Nonpartisan Candidates wishing to have their name on the ballot for the 2018 General Primary/Nonpartisan Election begins at 9 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 and will end at Noon, Friday, March 9, 2018.  All Democratic and Republican candidates will qualify with their political party.  Nonpartisan candidates will qualify with the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration office.  For information on what offices are up for election please call the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office at (706) 629-7781.
