SPLOST Program

Gordon County voters approved a continuation of the 1% Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) during November 2011 for another six years beginning April 1, 2012 until March 31, 2018. A total of 2,995 citizens voted, 2,069 (69%) voted for the SPLOST and 926 (31%) voted against the SPLOST. The referendum had a 13% voter turn-out rate.  Below is the list of approved projects to be funded by SPLOST.
