PUBLIC HEARING
FEBRUARY 11, 2013
The Gordon County Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Gordon County Administration Building for the purpose of electing the 2013 Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the Gordon County Planning Commission.
Members present were: Brad Rains, Walter “Butch” Layson, and Ron Free
Vice-Chairman Rains called the meeting to order and welcomed a guest, newly elected County Commissioner Kevin Cunningham.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Ron Free to approve the minutes of the previous meeting of December 10, 2012. Walter “Butch” Layson seconded the motion. All voted aye. The minutes were approved as written.
ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN
Vice-Chairman Rains opened the floor for nominations for the 2013 Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Planning Commission. Ron Free nominated Brad Rains to be the Chairman; Walter “Butch” Layson seconded the motion. All voted aye. Walter “Butch” Layson nominated Ron Free to be the Vice-Chairman; Ron Free seconded the motion. All voted aye. Brad Rains will be the 2013 Chairman and Ron Free the Vice-Chairman of the Gordon County Planning Commission.
ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
There being no additional business, Ron Free made the motion to adjourn. Walter “Butch” Layson seconded the motion. All voted aye. The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
