Public Notice: Solid Waste Handling Permit

In accordance with Section 12-8-24(d) of the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act, as amended, Gordon County will hold a public hearing regarding the issuance of a Solid Waste Handling Permit for the proposed Redbone Ridges Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Vertical Expansion located at 1224 Pleasant Hill Road Ext. NE, Ranger, Georgia 30734. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 at 6:00 P.M., to receive citizen input on the proposed municipal solid waste landfill vertical expansion. The public hearing will be held at the Gordon County Administration Building located at 201 North Wall Street, Calhoun, Georgia 30701.
