GORDON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
REGULAR SESSION MINUTES
APRIL 21, 2020
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held their Regular Meeting on April 21, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held via teleconference with the Board of Commission Members and the County Administrator. County Clerk Berry and Administrative Assistant King were present in person.

Chairman Hood called the meeting to order.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Hood asked if there are any additions, omissions, or deletions to the Minutes for the Special Meeting February 22, 2020, the Work Session and Regular Meeting March 17, 2020, and the Special Meeting March 23, 2020. Commissioner Sexton made a motion to approve the Minutes. Commissioner Steward seconded the motion and Commissioners Owens, Sexton, Steward, and Cunningham voted aye. Motion passed.
ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT
Administrator Ledbetter read the report. (copy attached)
COMMISSIONERS’ REPORT
Commissioner Owens commented that he wished to thank County employees and staff for their support and actions during this Covid-19 epidemic. Chairman Hood thanked the Emergency Management Director Courtney Taylor for his many hours, day and night, working and directing the County’s response to Covid-19.

CONSIDERATION OF NEW BUSINESS
DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY FOR A 2000 FORD ECONOLINE F350 SUPER DUTY VAN VIN#1FBSS31LOYHB02753
Chairman Hood advised that this is a declaration of surplus property for a 2000 Ford Econoline van VIN#1FBSS31LOYHB02753.
Commissioner Cunningham made a motion to approve the Declaration of Surplus Property.
Commissioner Sexton seconded the motion and Commissioners Steward, Cunningham, Owens, and Sexton voted aye. Motion passed.
CONTRACT WITH MOMON CONSTRUCTION, INC. AS CM AT RISK CONTRACTOR FOR JUDICIAL AND COURTHOUSE BUILDINGS
Administrator Ledbetter advised that this is the contract with Momon Construction, Inc. for the CM at Risk Contract for the Judicial building and the Courthouse. The Board approved the bid from Momon Construction as the Construction Manager at Risk at their March 3, 2020 Board meeting.
Commissioner Steward made a motion to approve the Contract with Momon Construction as the CM at Risk for the Courthouse and Judicial building. Commissioner Owens seconded the motion and Commissioners Steward, Owens, Sexton, and Cunningham voted aye. Motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Sexton made a motion to adjourn the Regular Meeting. Commissioner Cunningham seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
