Regular Meeting
Vice Chairman Surdykowksi called the meeting to order at approximately 5:23 p.m., welcoming all in attendance. Minutes from April 6, 2015 meeting were presented for review and approval. Jeff Henderson made a motion to accept minutes; seconded by Alvin Long. All voted aye.
Unfinished Business
County Administrator John King gave a brief update of the progression of the Resaca Battlefield project. Battlefield will be open for reenactment weekend, May 15-17, 2015, under state management.
Commissioners Reports
Jeff Henderson informed HPC of volunteer needs for Friends of Resaca tent on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the reenactment. Jeff Henderson stated there was increased turnout for Confederate Memorial Day at Confederate Cemetery. Tourists visited from as far away as Canada and Rhode Island. Jeff Henderson informed HPC of a medical display in the Brown Room at the Historical Society. Jeff Henderson passed around old Calhoun Times articles for HPC to review. Vice Chairman Surdykowski stated she will contact Chairman Padgett via email in regards to any needs for the upcoming Battle Reenactment.

Next scheduled meeting is Monday, June 1, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.. Alvin Long made motion to adjourn; seconded by Jeff Henderson. All voted aye. Meeting was adjourned at approximately 5:46 p.m.
