General Primary Runoff Election, Tuesday July 22, 2014

The General Primary Runoff Election will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. The polls will be open from 7 am until 7 pm on Election Day.

Early Voting will begin on on Monday, June 30th and early voting will end on Friday July 18th.  Office hours for early voting is Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Here are some frequently asked questions for a Runoff Election:

What party ballot can a voter request in a runoff election?

If you voted Republican in the Primary Election you will have to vote Republican in the Runoff Election.
If you voted Democrat in the Primary Election you will have to vote Democrat in the Runoff Election.
If you voted Nonpartisan in the Nonpartisan Election then you will be able to choose either a Republican or a Democratic ballot for the Runoff Election.

What if a voter did not vote in the Primary Election, can they vote in the runoff election?

Yes they can. They will choose to receive a Democratic or Republican ballot for the Runoff Election.
