WORK SESSION MINUTES
JUNE 5, 2012
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the conference room of the Administration Building.
Chairman Bailey called the meeting to order.
The Board discussed each item on the agenda and made no changes or additions.
County Attorney Smith discussed with the Board changing the Malt Beverage and Wine Ordinance to include the recently approved referendum for liquor by the drink. Also, as part of this discussion, a special event ordinance was discussed.
Mr. Aaron Walkover with the local KOA campground spoke to the Board to explain his request for having a special event at the campground in late November, as well as, a request from one of the vendors planning to have a booth at the special event who is requesting to sell beer along with food.
There was a consensus of the Board to ask the County Attorney to prepare a special event ordinance for consideration by the Board.
Commissioner Long made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Steward seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
