WORK SESSION MINUTES
JUNE 20, 2017
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Administration Building.
Chairman Hood called the meeting to order.
The Board discussed each item on the agenda for the Regular Meeting and made no changes or additions.
County Attorney Ledbetter spoke about the USDA Supplemental Watershed Agreement No. 3, this is Sallacoa dam No. 77, this is not the dam at the Sallacoa Park. Mr. Fred Walker is here to explain what they are doing and to reconfirm that this does not obligate the County to spend any money. Gordon County’s obligation is limited to just agreeing that this is the best course of action.
Attorney Ledbetter advised the Board that there will be a Special Meeting with the municipalities to discuss the capital improvement projects to be included in the Gordon County 2018 SPLOST referendum. The meeting has been set for July 5, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
Commissioner Owens made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Sexton seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the Work Session adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
