GORDON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WORK SESSION MINUTES
JULY 2, 2013
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 5:45 p.m. in the conference room of the Administration Building.
Chairman Hood called the meeting to order.
The Board discussed each item on the agenda and made no changes or additions.
Chairman Hood discussed with the Board her idea of initiating a new system for recognizing the Employee of the Month. Chairman Hood suggested that employees come up with a new idea for choosing Employee of the Month and whoever submits the best idea wins something, like a day off or a financial incentive, it would be implemented January 1, 2014, the deadline to submit would be November 1, 2013.
Commissioner Gazaway advised the Board that he had been contacted by someone who is interested in serving a term on the Library Board. Commissioner Gazaway advised that he would talk to Ed Weldon to get his input.
Commissioner Cunningham made a motion to adjourn the Work Session, Commissioner Sexton seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
