CONSIDERATION OF NEW BUSINESS

SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH NORTH GEORGIA COMMUNITY ACTION, INC. FOR OPERATION OF MOUNTAIN AREA TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM JULY 1, 2019 TO JUNE 30, 2020

County Administrator Ledbetter advised that this is the annual service agreement with North Georgia Community Action for our MATS transportation system for July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The contract matches the amount that we budgeted for $143,055.00. This is a three-year contract; build into stages of three one-year periods. This three-year contract will be up June of next year. This is the final year of the contract and then it will be up for renewal or to bid out.

Commissioner Cunningham made a motion to approve the service agreement with North Georgia Community Action. Commission Steward seconded the motion and Commissioners Cunningham, Steward, and Sexton voted aye. Motion passed.

MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH VERISTOR SYSTEMS, INC. TO PROVIDE DATA STORAGE FOR THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT CAMERAS

Administrator Ledbetter advised that this is the master services agreement with Veristor Systems, Inc., to provide data storage for the Sheriff’s Department body cameras and car cameras. When the county first started with the cameras it was not anticipated that they would require so much storage, so we just don’t have enough storage capacity. The data will also automatically uplink, which is removing one chain of custody to have to prove in court.

Commissioner Sexton made a motion to approve the services agreement with Veristor Systems. Commissioner Cunningham seconded the motion and Commissioners Sexton, Cunningham, and Steward voted aye. Motion passed.

HAZARD MITIGATION PLANNING CONTRACT WITH NORTH GEORGIA CONSULTING GROUP, LLC FOR UPDATE TO THE HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN

Administrator Ledbetter advised that this is the Hazard Mitigation Planning Contract with North Georgia Consulting Group for updating the Hazard Mitigation Plan. North Georgia Consulting Group has done our updating for about 15 years. This is at no cost to the county, the county pays for the updating and then we are reimbursed by a grant through FEMA.

Commissioner Steward made a motion to approve the Hazard Mitigation Planning Contract with North Georgia Consulting Group. Commissioner Cunningham seconded the motion and Commissioner Steward, Cunningham, and Sexton voted aye. Motion passed.

ADJOURNMENT

Commissioner Sexton made a motion to adjourn the Regular Meeting. Commissioner Steward seconded the motion and all voted aye.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:22 p.m.
