WORK SESSION MINUTES
AUGUST 7, 2018
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 5:25 p.m. in the conference room of the Administration Building.

Chairman Hood called the meeting to order.
Chairman Hood asked for a motion to go into Executive Session. Commissioner Cunningham made a motion to go into Executive Session for Legal Matters. Commissioner Cunningham seconded the motion and Commissioners Steward, Sexton, and Cunningham voted aye. Executive Session began at 5:25 p.m.
Commissioner Steward made a motion to adjourn the Executive Session and go back into the Work Session. Commissioner Sexton seconded the motion and all vote aye. Executive Session adjourned at 5:49 p.m.
County Administrator Ledbetter spoke to the Board regarding the Agenda for the Regular Meeting. He explained each item on the agenda for the Regular Meeting. There were no changes or additions made to the Agenda.
The naming of the new animal control facility was discussed and there was a consensus of the Board to name the facility Gordon County Animal Control.
Commissioner Sexton made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Steward seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the Work Session adjourned at 5:51 p.m.
