10/05/10 Work Session Minutes
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Administration Building.
Chairman Long called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone.
The Board discussed each item on the Agenda and made no changes or deletions.
Mr. Reggie Deal with MacTec explained the reports on structural evaluation of the parking deck and the old jail building. Following discussion with Board members, there was a consensus of the Board to move forward and go out for bids for renovation of the parking deck.
Commissioner Bailey made a motion to go into Executive Session for real estate. Commissioner Gordon seconded the motion. Executive Session began at 9:30 a.m. Commissioner Bailey made a motion to go back into the Work Session. Commissioner Gordon seconded and all voted aye.
Commissioner Gordon made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Hood seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
