The November 6th General Election is almost here. Listed below is important information concerning the election:
LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE, CHANGE NAME and/or ADDRESS
Tuesday, Oct 9th is the last day to register to vote in order to be eligible to vote in the November 6 General Election. It is also the last day to change name and/or address. To register to vote online click here or you may visit the Voter Registration Office located at 215 North Wall Street Calhoun, GA 30701 on Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. If you have any questions, please call the office at 706-629-7781.
EARLY & ADVANCE VOTING
Early and Advance Voting begins on October 15, 2018, at 8:30 am and will end on November 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm. To vote early, you may visit the Voter Registration Office located at 215 North Wall Street Calhoun, GA 30701 on Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. If you have any questions, please call the office at 706-629-7781.
SATURDAY VOTING
The Voter Registration office will be open on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 9:00 am to 4:00pm for early and advance voting. This is the only Saturday that will be available. This is a great opportunity for those who work outside of the county Monday-Friday.
NOVEMBER 6TH ELECTION DAY
Election Day is November 6, 2018. On this day, you can not vote at the Voter Registration Office. If you did not vote early, you must report to your local precincts to vote. All precincts will open at 7am and will close at 7 pm. To see where your voting precinct is located and to find out what voting districts you are in visit My Voter Page at: http://www.sos.ga.gov/mvp
