WORK SESSION MINUTES
NOVEMBER 7, 2017
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the main courtroom of the Gordon County Courthouse.

Chairman Hood called the meeting to order.
County Administrator/Attorney Ledbetter discussed with the Board each item on the Agenda for the Regular Meeting. No items were added or deleted from the agenda. One item on the agenda that Commissioner Owens asked about was the Prevent Child Abuse’s use of the mental health building. Commissioner Owens asked what services that Prevent Child Abuse offered that fulfilled the requirement for mental health necessary for this facility that is still under the grant requirements. Ms. Roberta Charbonneau spoke to the Board and gave Commissioner the information relating mental health services available from Prevent Child Abuse.
County Administrator/Attorney presented the 2016-2017 Year End Report to the Board.
Chairman Hood advised that the Board would adjourn now in order for the Board members to personally meet with the students from Gordon County Youth Leadership Class.
Commissioner Sexton made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Owens seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the Work Session adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
