Vice Chairman Steward called the meeting to order.
County Administrator Ledbetter explained to the Board the Rezonings and the New Business items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting. One item on the Agenda was for the First Reading of the Amendment to the Gordon County Code of Ordinance for Sunday Alcohol Sales. The Board will have the Second Reading at the second meeting in December and the Board will consider approval at that time.
Administrator Ledbetter read a letter from a Senior Citizen that goes to the County’s Senior Center. The citizen’s letter was concerning the Director, Ann Bradford. The citizen encouraged Gordon County to recognize and applaud Mrs. Bradford for the work she does with the senior citizens and to be grateful to have her represent Gordon County.
Commissioner Owens made a motion to go into Executive Session. Commissioner Potts seconded the motion and all voted aye. Executive Session began at 5:45 p.m. Commissioner Cunningham made a motion to go back into the Work Session. Commissioner Potts seconded the motion. Executive Session adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
Commissioner Cunningham made a motion to close the Work Session. Commissioner Potts seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the Work Session adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
