Good morning, everyone. Below you will find an update on the weather situation including the amount of rain that has already fallen and the amount still forecast to fall over the next several days. Gordon County has already experienced some flooding of roads and several roads are closed or are down to one lane. Please do not go around barriers and do not attempt to drive through water that is over roadways. TURN AROUND, DON”T DROWN!!!!

Rainfall:
The line of showers and storms across Georgia now will move through today and into Southern Georgia giving North Georgia a short break from the rainfall. We will see the rain return to the region in 2 more additional waves as the front lifts back north and another front comes through Saturday night into Sunday and once again on Monday night.
