PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger Postpones the Presidential Preference Primary until May 19, 2020. All ballots that have been cast will be counted on May 19th.
Early Voting for the Presidential Preference Primary ceased at 4:00 p.m. on March 14th.

Presidential Preference Primary Election

The Presidential Preference Primary Election will be on March 24, 2020. Early voting will begin on March 2, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the new office located on the first floor of the County Annex Building, 101 South Piedmont Street which is the building next to the parking deck. There will also be a Saturday opening for early voting on March 14, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Early voting ends at 5:00 p.m. on March 20, 2020
Here are a few reminders:
- Make sure you are registered to vote. To participate in the March 24, 2020, Presidential Preference Primary Election, you must be registered to vote by February 24, 2020.
- If you have moved or changed your name since the last election, you need to update your voter registration to your current information by February 24, 2020.
- Please make sure to watch the video below about the new election equipment.
