Voting by Mail Information/Absentee Voting
The last day to request an absentee ballot for the General Election Runoff is on November 28th.
When completing the application for an absentee ballot please complete all of the highlighted areas on the application. If the application is not completed properly it will delay your absentee ballot. Print the application below and submit it by email, fax or mail.

Last Day To Register To Vote
The last day to register to vote, change name or address on voter registration for the December 6, 2022 Runoff Election is November 7, 2022. For information on how to register to vote or to update your voter registration information call the Elections Office at 706-629-7781.
Early Voting Information
Early voting for the December 6, 2022 General Election Runoff will begin on Monday, November 28 – Friday, December 2nd. Office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 6:00pm. Early Voting will be held at the Elections Office located at 408 Court Street, Calhoun, Georgia 30701 (across the street from the Calhoun Post Office).

The Risk Limiting Audit of the December 6, 2022 General Election will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Gordon County Elections and Voter Registration Office which is located at 408 Court Street, Calhoun, Georgia. The audit will begin at 9:30 AM and continue until complete. Inquiries should be directed to the Chairperson of the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration, Shea Hicks at shicks@gordoncounty.org

Public Notice: Intent to Process Absentee Ballots Early for the December 6, 2022, General Election Runoff
The Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration hereby provides public notice of the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration intent to begin processing absentee ballots prior to the close of the polls on December 6, 2022. Pursuant to State Election Board Rule 183-1-14-0.9-.15, the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration shall open absentee ballots and begin scanning absentee ballots on the following date: December 5, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
Scanning will be held in the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office located at 408 Court Street, Calhoun, Georgia. This processing will not include any tallying or tabulation of results; only the opening of envelopes, ballot scanning and adjudication.
