3/16/10 Work Session Minutes
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. in the Administration Building Conference Room.
Chairman Long called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone.
The Board discussed each item on the Agenda and made no changes or additions.
County Attorney Hutchinson updated the Board members on the proposal from the State of Georgia for the Resaca Battlefield Historic site, which included a recommendation of an M & O Agreement between the State and the County. Following a lengthy discussion, there was a consensus of the Board to have the County Attorney draft a letter to the State stating that the Board is in agreement to ask the State to complete the project and present an M & O Agreement to Gordon County for the Board’s consideration and approval.
Commissioner Gordon made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Hood seconded the motion and all voted aye. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9:25 a.m.
