4/20/10 Work Session Minutes
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. in the Administration Building Conference Room.
Chairman Long called the meeting to order.
The Board discussed each item on the Regular Meeting Agenda and made no changes, one item was added to the agenda during the meeting.
The Board reviewed and discussed the Georgia D.O.T.’s draft of the State Transportation Improvement Program for FY2011-2014.
The Board discussed a change to the Personnel Ordinance with County Attorney Hutchinson and Human Resources Director Garah Childers regarding allowing county employees to run for political office. There were lots of pros and cons brought up during the discussion, but no action was taken.
Commissioner Bailey made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Hood seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
