5/05/09 Work Session Minutes
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners held a Work Session Tuesday, May 05, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the Administration Building Conference Room.
Chairman Long called the meeting to order.
The Board discussed each item on the Agenda for the Regular Meeting and made no changes; one item was added later in the meeting.
Representatives of Southern Health Partners were in attendance and explained to the Board the personnel plans for health services at the jail.
The Board discussed the HB489 agreements for roads and recreation. There was a consensus of the Board members to add this item to the agenda.
Administrator Dowling gave each Board member a copy of the recommended budget for FY 2009/2010 and gave them a few highlights of the budget.
Commissioner Bailey made a motion to adjourn the Work Session. Commissioner Gordon seconded the motion and all voted aye.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
