Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office Confirmation Notices

On June 30th the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office mailed out “Confirmation Notices” to over 1,000 voters in Gordon County.

Confirmation notices are generated because:

  • Mail from the registrar’s office has been returned undeliverable, OR
  • The voter’s name appears on the National Change of Address file, OR
  • There has been no contact with the voter during three calendar years.

If you received this notice please take time to complete and return the “confirmation notice” within 30 days to the Georgia Secretary of State Office or to the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office, so that the elector’s information can be updated on the voter registration records. If the card is not returned within 30 days after the date of the notice, the elector’s name shall be transferred to the inactive list of electors. After 2 General Elections if the elector still has not made contact with the Elections and Voter Registration Office they will be deleted off of Gordon County Elector’s List.

If you have any questions please contact the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office at 706-629-7781.
