Gordon County owns and operates the following parks:
Sonoraville Recreation Complex
![]() Sonoraville Recreation Complex | This 79 acre athletic complex and park located in the Sonoraville community on SR 53 East consists of six lighted tennis courts, four lighted baseball fields, two soccer fields, one lighted football field, skate park, two playgrounds, picnic pavilions, maintenance building, three concession stands/restrooms, and a community center with a two-basketball court gymnasium, fitness center, three community rooms, concession stand, locker rooms, and Parks & Recreation Department offices. Salacoa Creek Park
![]() Salacoa Creek Park Beach | This 364 acre recreational area located on SR 156 East (Redbud Road) consists of 32 RV sites with 30 amp electric hook-ups, water, fire ring, picnic table, deck, and dump station, 25 primitive camping sites with restrooms and shower facilities, 126 acre lake, swimming and beach area, two playgrounds, picnic pavilion for 75-100 people with electric and water, boat launch area (electric motors only), john boat rentals, and a 1.5 mile nature trail. Harold “Ooky” Faith Memorial Park
