This joint development authority was created to promote the development of the jointly owned 65 acre Northwest Georgia Industrial Park located off of SR 53 and Hermitage Road in North Floyd County.

The Gordon-Floyd Joint Development Authority meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the 2nd month of each quarter is is typically held at 10:00 a.m. A seven day notice is posted by the Gordon-Floyd Joint Development Authority. The location of the meetings are held at the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce conference room or the Floyd County Administrative Office.
