How Hiring: E-911 Telecommunicator

Gordon County is accepting applications for a full-time Public Safety Telecommunicator for the E-911 Facility. Candidate must have a high school diploma from an accredited high school or an equivalency from an accredited program, preferably EMD certified, but will train. The ideal candidate should have computer keyboard knowledge and the ability to exercise good judgment in crises. Must be willing to work flexible hours, holidays, weekends, and rotating shifts. Must pass pre-employment written and oral exams, drug screening, and a criminal background check.
