The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for Jailers. Applicants must be 18 years of age and have an accredited High School Diploma or an Equivalency from an accredited program. Applicants must pass pre employment physical testing, background check, oral interviews, drug screening and physical exams. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours including alternate weekends and holidays. Employees also receive a full benefit package thru Gordon County. Applications can be obtained by clicking here or may be picked up in person at the Sheriff’s Office. Completed applications must be turned in at the Sheriff’s Office.
