Now Hiring: Technical and Office Coordinator

The Gordon County Public Works Department is now accepting applications for the position of Technical and Office Coordinator. Responsibilities and job requirements include maintaining the fuel system, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, directory structures, and file extensions, working with ElementsXS (our call tracking and data program), and knowledge of ADP time tracking and payroll reporting, knowledge of purchasing processes. The position requires good communication and public relations skills while working closely with all Public Works staff, Fleet Maintenance staff, and other county employees. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Gordon County IT Department for all computers, software, and phone system issues for the Public Works Department. The position will also be required to interact with the public and will include documenting all complaints and then recording them in the ElementsXS program to be distributed to the appropriate crews.

Education Requirements; Preferred qualifications are an Associate Degree in Business, Technical, or Information Technology.
