There will a public reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon tomorrow (July 7th). This is the third annual reading of the Declaration and is sponsored by the Gordon County Bar Association, the Office of the District Attorney and the Office of the Public Defender. Local attorneys, including our judges, will be reading the Declaration on the steps of the Main Courthouse. The Sheriff’s Honor Guard will present the colors.
