I would like to thank each of the firms submitting qualifications.

Gordon County passed a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) in 2012 to fund various capital improvements. One of these is to build a new fire station to replace the current one in the Red Bud community. Therefore, Gordon County will be contracting with a company to assist with this endeavor.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Gordon County Board of Commissioners is soliciting for written qualifications from interested companies to provide the following services:

  • Design and construct a new Fire Station, approximately 9,700 sq ft, to replace the current Red Bud fire station. This project will be a design-build construction delivery arrangement on a turn-key basis. The new station will be built next to the existing Red Bud station on the corner of Red Bud Road and Cash Road.
  • The company shall obtain all permits and other governmental approvals, all surveys, engineering and environmental studies, as required, if any.
