Gordon County ordinances do not allow structures identified as RV’s camper, travel trailers or the relatively new term “tiny homes” to be used as dwellings. These type units are primarily designed as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, or seasonal use.
Structures for use as dwellings that are constructed off-site and intended to be located in Gordon County shall have either a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) data plate for manufactured housing or a Georgia state modular home data plate affixed to the structure indicating it has been inspected by these agencies. Gordon County local code amendments shall be complied with.
RV’s, campers, travel trailers and tiny homes used as dwellings are only allowed for use in designated and approved RV and campground sites.
