There will be a Special Election Runoff for Senate District 54 on January 10, 2017.
The runoff is between Chuck Payne (R) and Debby Peppers.
Early voting began on December 27th and it will end on January 6th. (our offices are closed for New Years on January 2nd) To cast your ballot early you will go to the Gordon County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office located in the Gordon County Annex Building at 101 S. Piedmont Street, Calhoun, office hours are from 8:30 am until 5:00 p.m.
Polls will be open on January 10th from 7 am until 7 pm. Only those voters that vote in the following voting precincts will be eligible to vote in this Special Election:
Sonoraville, Red Bud, Pine Chapel, Oakman, Fairmount and part of Resaca. You can go to MVP at www.sos.ga.gov to see if you’re in Senate District 54.
