Cook Rd, River Bend Rd. from Thomas Bluff Rd. to Cutoff Rd, McDaniel Station Rd, Water Tank Rd, Beamer Bottom Rd, Langford Rd, Beamer Circle Rd, Thomas Bluff Rd, and Miller Ferry Rd.

WEATHER UPDATE:
This information has expired: On Monday, February 10, 2020, Gordon County and City of Calhoun public safety and public works officials participated in the National Weather Service weather briefing.
Gordon County is under a significant flash flood threat. The weather system’s frontal boundary is stalling out over the region and we could see 3″-6″ of rainfall between now and Tuesday evening. This storm will be moving in this evening and flash flooding of roadways is possible. If you do not have to be out on the roads this evening, please stay off of the roads.
There will be a slight risk of 1″ of rain between Tuesday evening into Wednesday evening with a marginal threat on Wednesday of strong winds, possible flooding, and possible tornados.
Another storm system will move in this Saturday and will linger into Monday bringing an additional 2″ – 4″ of rain.
The total rainfall expected for the next 7 days is 5″-10″ of rain.
If you see any roads that are flooded, please report it by calling 911. Do not drive around or move the barricades. Turn Around and Don’t Drown. #TurnAroundDontDrown
